వారి వారి సీట్లలో కూర్చున్న ప్రయాణికులు, పక్కవారితో ముచ్చట్లు పెట్టుకుంటూ కొందరు, తమ తమ స్మార్ట్ ఫోన్ లతో మరికొందరు బిజీబిజీ గడుపుతున్నారు. 

బస్ సీట్ల నాల్గవ వరుసలో కుడివైపు కిటికీ పక్కన 52 యేళ్ల తండ్రి, 24 యేళ్ల కొడుకు కూర్చొని ఉన్నారు. అదే వరుస ఎడమ కిటికీ వైపు కొత్తగా పెళ్లైన దంపతులు కూర్చొని ఉన్నారు.

బస్ ముందుకు వెళుతున్నా కొద్ది…. కొడుకు….వావ్ డాడీ…….ఆ చెట్లను చూడండి, మన వెనక్కి వెళుతున్నాయ్ అంటూ ఆశ్చర్యాన్ని వ్యక్తం చేశాడు. దీన్ని గమనించిన కొత్త దంపతులు తండ్రిని, కొడుకుని వింతగా చూశారు.

మరికొద్దిసేపటికి, డాడీ….చెట్లలాగే కొండలు కూడా వేగంగా వెనక్కి వెళుతున్నాయి అంటాడు…ఈ సారి మరింత ఆశ్చర్యంగా చూస్తారు దంపతులు.

ఇంకాసేపటికి….డాడీ….ఆకాశంలోని మేఘాలు చూడండి…మనం ఎటు వెళ్తే అవి కూడా అటే వస్తున్నాయ్. అంటూ చప్పట్లు చరుస్తూ చెబుతాడు కొడుకు. 

అప్పటి వరకు ఓపికతో ఉన్న ఆ దంపతులు…ఏంటండీ….24 సంవత్సరాల వయస్సున్న వ్యక్తి ఇలా సిల్లీగా బిహేవ్ చేస్తుంటే…డాక్టర్ కు చూపించాల్సింది పోయి…మీరు కూడా అతని వెర్రి మాటలకు నవ్వుతారేంటి? అని కోపగించుకున్నారు దంపతులు.

అప్పుడు ఆ తండ్రి…కరెక్టేనమ్మా…మా బాబును ఇప్పుడే డాక్టర్ దగ్గరి నుండి తీసుకువస్తున్న…వాడు పుట్టుకతోనే అంధుడు…ఆపరేషన్ తర్వాత వాడికి తిరిగి కళ్లు వచ్చాయి.

 కళ్లు వచ్చాక….ఇదిగో ఇదే మొదటి సారి బస్ ఎక్కడం అందుకే వాడిలో ఆ ఎగ్జైట్ మెంట్…మనం మొదటిసారి బస్ ఎక్కినప్పుడు చుట్టూ ఉన్న పరిసరాలు మన నుండి వెనక్కి వెళుతున్నాయి అని మీరు కూడా అనుకునే ఉంటారు..

బహూషా మీకు గుర్తు ఉంటే ఉంటుంది?…ప్రస్తుతం నా కొడుకు పరిస్థితి కూడా అదే..! అని సమాధానం ఇచ్చాడు తండ్రి, సారీ సార్ అన్నారు దంపతులు.

Moral: ఇతరుల పరిస్థితిని తెలుసుకోకుండా….మనమే ఓ అభిప్రాయానికి రావడం తప్పు, ఇక మనమనుకున్నదే కరెక్ట్ అనుకొని వాదించడం ఇంకా పెద్ద తప్పు.

A bus, filled with passengers, was traveling from Hyderabad to Vijayawada.

The travelers were busy in their own ways—some chatting with their neighbors, others glued to their smartphones.

In the fourth row on the right side by the window sat a 52-year-old father and his 24-year-old son. In the same row, on the left side by the window, sat a newly married couple.

After the bus had moved a little, the son exclaimed in wonder, “Wow, Dad! Look at those trees—they’re moving backward as we go forward!”

The newly married couple noticed this and looked at the father and son curiously.

A little later, the son said, “Dad… even the hills are moving backward!” This time, the couple looked even more amazed.

After a while, the son clapped his hands excitedly and said, “Dad… look at the clouds in the sky! Wherever we go, they come along too!”

By now, the couple’s patience was running thin. They thought, “What’s happening? A 24-year-old acting so silly… he needs to be taken to a doctor. How can we not laugh at his nonsense?”

Then the father explained, “You’re right… we are just bringing our son back from the doctor. He was born blind, and only recently got his eyesight back after surgery.

This is his very first time on a bus. That’s why he is so excited… when we first see the world after gaining sight, it feels like everything around us is moving backward.

Perhaps you’ve experienced that feeling too…? Well, my son is feeling the same way right now!”

The couple apologized, saying, “We’re sorry, sir.”

Moral: It’s wrong to form opinions about others without knowing their situation. And thinking that our own view is always correct and arguing about it is an even bigger mistake.
