Once upon a time there was a terrible lion in the forest. It is a very greedy lion and kills wild animals indiscriminately. All the animals that saw this gathered and decided that one animal of each species should volunteer to eat the lion every day and approach the lion.

 

So every day the lion eats one of the animals in the forest, so one day at the end of the rabbit came a turn. The rabbits chose an adult rabbit from their breed. The rabbit is intelligent and older. That rabbit decided on its own time to get closer to the lion.

The lion was impatient to see no animal come that day, and wanted to kill all the animals the next day.

The rabbit went to the lion by sunset. The lion is very angry at it. But, the wise rabbit remained calm and slowly told the lion that it was not his fault.

On the way, an angry 'lion' attacked all of them and ate all the rabbits, and if they came to kill me too I somehow escaped to reach you safely, 'said the rabbit.

The lion became very angry, started roaring and saw its reflection in the water, being angry, then the lion jumped into the water to attack it, the lion fell into the well and lost his life. 

Thus the wise rabbit saved the animals of the forest and its allies from the ferocious lion.

🦁 The Lion in the Village

In a peaceful village surrounded by green fields and glowing sunsets, life flowed gently. The villagers worked in their farms during the day and spent quiet evenings with their families.

One day, that peace was shattered.

A lion from the nearby forest began appearing at the edge of the village. At first, it stayed at a distance. But soon, it started roaming near the houses at night, frightening cattle and occasionally carrying away livestock. Its roar echoed through the darkness, sending children running into their parents’ arms. Fear and unrest spread throughout the village.

“This is dangerous!” some villagers cried.
“We must call soldiers and kill it,” others demanded.

At that time, a wise sage sat calmly near the village pond. When the villagers shared their fears, he spoke gently:
“It is easy to respond to strength with more strength. But every problem has a cause. First understand the reason behind its behavior. Is it hunger? Is it loss? When you understand the cause, you will find the solution.”

His words touched the hearts of the village elders.

The king, along with a few brave villagers, carefully observed the forest. They discovered that food in the forest had become scarce. Due to poor rains, many small animals had migrated. The lion was coming to the village out of hunger, not cruelty.

Instead of fighting it, the king made a thoughtful plan. They arranged for food to be placed at a safe distance deep in the forest, away from the village. At the same time, they strengthened fences to protect their livestock.

Gradually, the lion stopped entering the village. With its hunger satisfied, it remained in the forest. Its roar, once terrifying, became just a distant echo of the wild.

Peace returned to the village.

The people realized something profound — what appears to be an enemy may simply be a being in need. With understanding, humility, and compassion, even conflict can transform into harmony.

The lion was no longer a symbol of fear, but a reminder of balanced coexistence.

Moral: Strength alone does not solve problems; kindness, humility, and wise guidance lead to true peace.
